RR Cinematic is what happens when two guys named Rob team up to make films.
Founded by Robert Castañeda and Robert Ramirez, this duo has been combining their talents since 2023 to create some seriously fun and spooky stuff—mostly in the horror genre (because who doesn’t love a good scare?). Based out of Laredo, TX, RR Cinematic is all about telling engaging, suspenseful stories while keeping the community growing by involving local talent.
Together, the two Rob's have been bringing their unique blend of scares and laughs to life. They’re passionate about working with local artists and putting Laredo on the filmmaking map, one film at a time.

Robert Castaneda handles the production side of things, drawing from his years of experience as a social media manager and client coordinator at the marketing agency both Rob's work together at. He’s usually the one making sure the ideas that start with “Wouldn’t it be cool if…?” become a movie-magic reality. He’s also probably the one reminding everyone to meet deadlines (because someone has to, right?).

On the flip side, Robert Ramirez is the camera and story wiz. With a background in photography and videography, he’s the one behind the lens and pen. He's the real mind that's creating and capturing all the action, and making sure the visuals look amazing. Whether it’s lighting, angles, or post-production magic, Rob R.'s got it covered.
